6 Eye Makeup Tricks

Eyes are one of the many attractive features on a person, and if makeup has taught one anything, it is to unabashedly highlight your features even more! Round, small, almond, or any shape or size, being able to play with your features with some makeup is always fun. If you’re looking for some tips and tricks to highlight these beauties, you’re at the right place. Here are some simple techniques.

1. Invisible eyeliner
This is a technique where you only apply the liner to the upper waterline of your eyelid. This gives the eyes a compact look without having to add too much makeup. A tight line along with mascara will make your eye pop big and bright. Try it, and you won’t regret it!

2. Inner corners
A very subtle yet reassuring trick to highlight your eyes. All you have to do is select a nude shimmery eyeshadow and with the help of a brush, apply this to the inner corner of your eyes. You can also extend this and apply to your brow bone for that extra shine. If you don’t have a nude eye shadow shimmer, you can always also use a highlighter. Ensure to apply enough to get the needed effect.

3.  Nude eyeliner
Another trick to make your eyes pop and look lively is to use nude eyeliner. Not on the eyelids but on the waterline of the lower eyelid. Depending on your skin tone, you can even switch to a white/silvery liner that can add that extra touch of glitter to your eyes.

4. Warm eye shadow
Adding some warm eyeshadow to your makeup routine will go a long way. A simple trick on how to use this is to take a fluffy brush and apply this color palette into the crease of your eyes. The motion of the brush should be from the outer corner to the inner corner, going back and forth. Thanks to the fluffy brush, the color will be distributed evenly and make your eyes pop.

5. Bushy eyelashes
Curl them lashes! Use an eyelash curler to add that extra curl, and if needed, a good trick is to warm the eyelash curler using a dryer. Be careful, though, as it might be too hot, so check with your fingers first. Apart from this, you can go for fake eyelashes to add volume. Just make sure you use the right gel to stick the lashes. But make sure you don’t overdo the lashes. Depending on a day or nighttime look, add that extra bounce to your lashes.

6. Fuller brows
Now, this may seem unnecessary, but your brows complement your eyes remarkably! So another tip is to fill your brows to frame your look better. Furthermore, other makeup tricks you apply to your eyes will easily be highlighted.
